Shashidhar Sastry (Shashi) is an Enterprise Architect with 33 years of experience, including 20 years in IBM Australia and India. He is an IBM certified Thought Leader and Open Group Distinguished Architect.
Shashi delivers Enterprise Technology Transformation, Consulting, Governance, Cloud and Automation solutions for large customers in multiple countries. He is a consultant for Manufacturing, Telecom and Media industries and holds multiple IT patents.
Shashi has long been deep into philosophy, western classical music, art and history. He is a voracious reader with an eclectic taste. His favourite fiction writers are Kingsley Amis, Graham Greene, Ernest Hemingway, Henry James, Dickens and Indian authors in English.
He is a keen student of English and the craft of writing. He has been writing for the last four years on architecture, leadership and philosophical topics. For the latter, he posts articles on The Philosophy Forum, Philosophy Now, Stack Exchange Philosophy Forum and Arktos.
He is a citizen of Australia and India and lived in Sydney with his family from 1997 to 2010. He relocated to Pune in India with his wife Shylaja and children Preetika and Tarun.
